How are your design fees determined?Every project is thoughtfully tailored to the client, property, and desired level of service. Our fees are determined by the project scope, number of rooms, timeline, location, and degree of customization required. Following your consultation, you will receive a personalized proposal outlining the recommended services and investment.What is the minimum investment to work with Orchid Gold Interiors?Our full-service design projects typically begin at a design-fee minimum discussed during consultation, with furnishings and project-related purchases budgeted separately. Because every space is unique, the final investment will depend on the size and scope of your project.Is the design fee the same as the furnishings budget?No. The design fee covers our expertise, creative direction, planning, sourcing, coordination, and project oversight. Furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories, window treatments, contractor services, delivery, installation, and other third-party costs are separate.Do you offer different levels of design service?Yes. Depending on your needs, we may recommend full-service interior design, a focused room transformation, design consultation, or styling and finishing services. Each offering is structured to provide the appropriate level of guidance and support for your project.Do you charge hourly or offer a flat design fee?Our pricing structure depends on the service selected. After the initial consultation and project assessment, you will receive a tailored proposal describing the scope of work, design fees, estimated timeline, payment schedule, and any anticipated additional costs.Is a retainer required?Yes. A signed agreement and initial retainer are required to reserve your project and begin the design process. The remaining design fees are collected according to the payment schedule outlined in your proposal.Can my project be completed in phases?Select projects may be completed in phases when the overall vision, budget, and timeline support that approach. We will recommend a project structure that preserves design continuity and allows each phase to feel intentional and complete.
